I want to delete songs that i don't like from the device but i don't know how.

using data cable attach your mp3 with the computer
and there it will be shown to you as a mass storage device and there you will see the list of songs then you can easily delete the songs you dont like.

I dont know how to delete songs!! please help.

there are two options to delete song's first is you plug your mp3 to the computer, then you delete all song's that you have stored, second is you can delete 1 by 1 directly in your mp3, go to your settings then chose folder that you want to delete

Plug in to the computer using the USB. Then go to "my computer". then click on the icon for your MP3. Go to the files. and then delete.

You may have automatic synchronization set up with Windows Media Player - if this is true, disable it. If you don't use manual sync, then you will have no control over what goes on or off your mp3 player.

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

to delete songs u av to go to the menu and then the second last folder name delete then go in it and then u can delete

Deleting songs from my mp3

use the program u use to put the songs on the mp3 player, try click on ur device (what ever the mp3 player comes up as in the prog) then click on song u want to remove then right mouse click u should get a lil box pop up with a remove or delete command there

to add or delete songs you simply view it as a hard drive then drag and drop the sings you want on the folder marked sansa.  to delete do the same thing in reverse.

You plug it to your computer, you select the songs you want to delete and you delete them.

Deleting songs???

You can delete the songs thru the PC.

My Computer>Device Name (m230)>Music Folder.

Just right click and select DELETE on the songs you dont want.
