Acer notebook screen will not energize?

- I own Acer travelMate 730 series notebook
- Have not used notebook for 2 months
- Connected notebook to power supply and slid power switch to open
- power icon 0n and battery charge is on
- nothing appears on the screen
- tried startup disk with no action
-tried Fn switch brightness level, no action
tried Fn-F6 to toggle, no action
- what is the next step??

WizHi,
If you keep you battery for a long periode of time without using it it may damage and damage you system too. Remove the battery and check weather any junks are there on battery connector. if it is there clean it and try to boot without battery and check.
