This can happen for a number of reasons. You could have a virus on the device, the operating system could be crashed, there could be a hardware glitch.
I would start with attempting to boot the phone into recovery mode. You can follow the steps attached to do so. Once you get into recovery mode, try to select the option that says "Clean System Cache" and then reboot the phone.
Did you run out of service days? Because, if you don't pay your bill to your phone by the "Due Date", it will shut off your services, including messaging, phone calls, but not emergency calls. But, if you did pay your bill, then I don't know why it would be doing this, other than your in airplane mode.
If you have an SD card in the cell phone, remove and restart the phone. If that doesn't work, do a complete reset. Keep in mind that you will lose all the data in your phone when you do that. Please take a backup before resetting your phone.
I had to call my phone provider to get the answer. press up volume and hold while pressing power and hold until it comes to a screen with choices on how to fix your phone. use the volume button to go up or down the choices. that's all i remember good luck
