Question about Teac PD-H300 CD Player

CD PLayer no longer recognising CD RW discs

The CD player has been playing CD-RW disc's fine up until today when I put in a disc that had previously worked, but when it tried to load the tracks, it came back with No Disc on the display. Normal CD's seem to play fine, although occasionally it does sound like it's even struggling to read these. I've had the system for just over three years but rarely used it so I can't imagine that the laser has gone already. Can you offer any advice?

What does the lower surface look like? Does it have a lot of scratches or is it perfect? Many times the condition of the optical surface of the disc can affect the results you have. The disc is scratched can be polished. Burned disc only have about 70% of the output that a pressed disc has so sometimes you need to burn a new one.

My AWA UC550AR Micro System does not recognise when a CD is loaded

The problem is in the laser pickup, overtime it becomes weak until it can no longer read the disc, the only option is the complete replacement of the laser pickup assembly, but it is far cheaper to replace the player.

When I load a cd in my Stanton C324 it reads "No

Clean your CDs before and after playing them. Although the compact disc has a much longer lifespan than does something like a cassette tape, it can be more fragile. Scratches, dust or other damage to the data side of the CD will cause many CD players to fail to read the CD or cause the CD to skip.

Examine the type and format of the compact disc if your CD player fails to read it. Verify that your CD player can read the type of CD and the files contained on it. Just because you've burned a collection of songs to a CD, for example, doesn't mean that your CD player will be able to recognize that information. You must burn CDs in a specially formatted "Audio CD" mode to play them on a CD player, or your CD player must be able to recognize the MP3 file format. Some CD players have limitations on the type of CD they can read. Verify that your CD player can read CD-R, CD+R, CD-RW or CD+RW compact discs.

Update your CD player's driver, if your CD player is a drive connected to your computer. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel." Click on "Hardware and Sound" and select "Device Manager" under "Devices and Printers." Right-click the icon for your CD drive and select "Update driver software." This may solve any issues the drive was having with playing CDs.

My cd player D-FJ003 says "no disc" now whenever I put any disc in. It was working fine before.

I have two of these players now and i know what this is. It is because of the disc holder. It has been pressed down to the bottom and no longer lets the motor spin the disc. The fix is to carefully pry off the small disc holder that spins and find a place where it will spin freely then apply superglue to the center of it and very carefully sliding it back on making sure its not too far down as to not play. Let the glue dry for a long time and carefully put a disc on and see if it plays. This worked with mine but i kind of broke it in other ways and didnt let the glue dry fully so its still kind of scetchy so i bought another on on ebay for like $10.

Denon DCM 390 not longer reads discs--HELP!

Hi there, this lens may be dirty or it may have a thin layer of heat film that is causing it to not read in a consistent manner. i would try to clean the lens with a good CD lens cleaner. if the cleansing doesn't restore the lens to its original reading state, this will confirm lens assembly failure and you will need to replace this assembly.

`Sony CD player won't play burned discs

Many of the older Car CD Players will not play CD-R's or they may with static sounds behind the music. What you need to do is try using a different brand of cd-r disc. If this doesn't work then it means that you may need to replace the CD player because the model that you have may not be decoded in order to play CD-R, CD-RW, play MP3's or anything of that such.
Get back to me if this doesn't work I'll help you square it away.
