Canon pixma ip1000 black ink stop printing suddenly

I was printing 10 pages (black ink). Sudenly, from the 3rd page, printer produced blank paper only, while still doing its printing job. First 2 pages vere printed in 100% quality. I changed a cartrige, I did deep cleaning, however, one single drop of the ink did not apearred on the paper, when trying to print again. Printhead does not seem to be clogged. What is the problem? How can I sole it?

Hi,

Based on your explanation I will try to help.
Your ink tank had run out. You can refill it through the bottom of the tank or just simply replace your ink tank.

SOURCE: problem with canon PIXMA ip1000 printer

Hi there,

It might be the contact strip of the Printer which remains in touch with Cartridge going rip off for the Black one.

You need to repair it. It will not cost you much.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Ellin

Sounds like the print head is no good. This happens. Here's a link to a site that sells them reasonably.

Blank pages

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Remove the printer software. And remove the driver from device manager "usb printing support" .and remove printer from control panel>printers, and download latest driver from Internet and install. It will work, if not contact service centers with your printer

Canon jP 1500 is printing blank pages It was working fine. Suddenly (new page) dispenses only blank pages. It has plenty ink, sounds like it is printing but dispenses only blank paper

Try a deep clean, sounds like a blockage but odd all at once. it could be possible that cartriges are a faulty batch, ive experienced many times but not all at once. hope this helped jay.

IP1000 cannot print black ink

This is what worked (so far) with my Dell1.gif AIO A940 printer1.gif that wouldn't print black ink.

It worked for awhile when I chose photo/glossy paper, but then it quit printing again (see below).

PRINT, PROPERTIES, PAPER SETUP, SPECIALTY PAPER, PHOTO/GLOSSY

I got it to print, again, by putting SEVERAL papers in the feeder (instead of just 1) - there is a sensor that is supposed to automatically detect paper type, and it might not be working right, especially with one or only a couple of sheets.
