If the internet comes into the router, and not the DVD player, then the reason it keeps rebooting is that the internet link is going down.

SOURCE: cannot find security key for

You will ahve to connect by wire to the router and go to the section for wireless security and see what it is set to. If asked for a User and Password and you know it was never set the the default is one of these combinations:
User: admin
Pass:password
User: admin
Pass:administrator
User:password
Pass:password

If none of these work you can try using the master reset which should be on the backside and usually requires a toothpick to press. If you do this you will need to redo all the settings because it will erase them.

The signal from my router to my Samsung blu ray is not strong enough

There are several things you need to consider with wireless connection:
Distance - How far is the Netgear router from the Samsung Blu ray? Try changing the wireless channel on the Netgear router that can help boost the signal. Wireless Security- Have you enabled wireless security on the router? Is it WEP or WPA? Make sure that you input the wireless security key on the Blu Ray player and that you have setup wireless settings correctly.Number of wireless devices - Check the number of wireless devices(laptops, desktops, pda's, etc) connecting to the router as it also weakens the signal. And if wireless security is not enabled on your Netgear router, there's a chance that your neighbor might be connecting to your router via wireless.
You can also test how strong the signal is by placing a wireless laptop on the same location where the blu ray player is. If the laptop gets a weak signal as well, you can try placing the router closer to the blu ray player.

I have the WNR2000v3 router and my panasonic blue ray is not getting an IP address. My lap top works fine. I am hardlined to blu-ray.

Same combo...Finally figured out that I had to manually input Default gateway and IP addresses. But, I also have the same problem with the Mits TV I bought the same time as my BD player. After a lot of looking, I've decided the router is the main culprit and it's time to buy a new one to keep what little hair I have left.

I have a Vizio VBR120 Blu-ray player and it won't connect to my internet using my NETGEAR WNR2000v3 Router. I have tried using an ethernet cable from router to the blu-ray player. I will not find an IP...

The default IP mode is set to Dynamic, which means your player will automatically detect and use
your network settings after you connect your Ethernet cable, but you can manually change these
settings if you are an advanced user and are comfortable with networks.
1. Turn on your player and your TV. If a DVD is not in the disc tray, the Home menu will be
displayed. If a DVD is in the disc tray, press SETUP to display the Home menu.
2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable (not included) to the Ethernet port on your player
3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your home network (usually your router
home network must have broadband Internet access such as cable or DSL.
4. Press to select Settings, and then press SELECT.
5. Press to select Network, and then press SELECT.
6. Press ^ or down to select Wired and then press SELECT.
7. Press to change IP Mode to Manual and then press SELECT.
8. Manually change your network settings such as IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default
Gateway, the Primary DNS, and Secondary DNS.
9. Press ^ or down to select Apply and then press SELECT.
Note: If you need additional help setting up your network, please refer to the user manual for your
router or contact the manufacturer of either your router or your Internet service provider if they
provided the router for you.

Your ip settings will look something like this 192.168.2.1

You might be able to find you setting by going to Network Connections -> 2x click on Local Area Connection -> then click on the support tab.

That is a good router.
Is your wireless device (iPad? laptop? notebook?) using a Wireless-N adapter?
If not, all you get is the much-slower "Wireless-G" speed.

Measure, measure, measure.

If you use an Ethernet cable to connect from your computer to your router, do you get a much-faster connection?
