Question about Singer Stylist 7258 Electric Sewing Machine
HAAA!!! Me, too!! I just got the same code. I actually took off all the stuff to clean it (glad I did too because after a whole week of sewing on it straight, it was hella filthy!), I still couldn't get it to work. The answer is in the Singer FAQ website (http://www.singerco.com/support/frequently-asked-questions). Your button hole lever has been bumped. It is just to the left of the the needle bar. I just pulled mine all the way down, then pushed it all the way back up. No more E7!!!! Color me happy for sure!

Cleaning and taking off the darning plate was the key for the error E7 message to disappear! Woot, woot!
