I recently purchased one of the casio EV 660 pocket TVs, partly watch while
in the kitchen. I expected the telescopic aerial to be poor (it is) but also
expected there to an external aerial option but there isn't.
Does anybody have any bright ideas how I can improve reception?
If it helps the aerial does come out easily by removing one screw, so I
guess I could find a larger telescopic aerial as a substitute but I'm
sceptical about that actually helping.
Any way to bodge a normal coax style connection?
Failing that anybody in the market for a as new pocket tv!!
Chris.

Have just connected my sky plus box so that it sends its picture around the house on all the coaxial outputs. Can I connect this tv to an aerial point with a audio/video connector. I plug an aerial cable with a 3.5mm plug to coax socket aerial adaptor on it and nothing is picked up, will the tv tune in to the signal in the same way my second tv has?
Thanks

socket.
That would be an aerial input which you would need an adaptor for so you can
plug in a normal coax plug.

With a converter from Maplin (~??1) it works just great off an aerial feed.

a large TV aerial to your head. That'll allow you decent picture quality
whilst walking around. Problem sorted. :-)
