Problem with HTC Touch Cell Phone (Unlocked) - Soft Black

want to factory reset an unlocked htc touch cdma (vogue)

I want to hard reset or factory reset an unlocked htc touch cdma (sprint).. I got this phone a few days ago (condition : used), with bunch of installed programs that I don't need, and bunch of missing features, such as htc cube for touch-flo... too complicated to handle.. so I think i'd just factory reset (or hard reset) it.

however, I'm afraid that if I do it, the phone would be returned to its original settings, meaning, be locked again!

well, would the phone be still unlocked or would be locked again (as the original factory settings) if i perform a hard reset?

Please help....

Best Solution

All you have to do is... hold down the (RED) End button and the (GREEN) Send button at the same time, and while still holding them down POKE your stylus in the soft reset hole at the bottom of phone.
Soft Reset button is located to the right of the mini USB charging port, assuming the phone's screen is facing you.
Confirm you want to Format and Done!
P.S. Sometimes if you don't hold the Green and Red buttons hard enough they tend to unclick and reclick if you don't apply Firm and even pressure. Also if you still have trouble make sure the phone is in the BOOTING cycle when you attempt this.

1)take the phone
2)hold it tight
3)throw it against brick wall
4)if it still not works after that
5)conclusion: buy a mobile that works like a phone
never windows on a phone

      Ok seriously



      HTC touch won't boot because.

      windows mobile is looking for a keyboard and mouse

      and can't find it

      and as there is no bios on the phone it can't lt you know that.

      therefore screen is blank which appears to be off.

      but is acutally on and running in screensaver mode

      which you can not see as there is no scree saver in the bios



      confused?
