First option is to change phone numbers. Second option is to go to the local law office and show them that there is an illegal trace on the phone and you want the other end prosecuted

Horn, wipers, turn signal doesn't work

Start at the device trace wiring back to the point they connect to the Battery's positive cabeling. The two probably meet at or near the fuse box. Telephone people have a wire traceing device like this: t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c96647ff0 It has a transmitter you would attach to the wire feeding the horn it generates a pulse on the wire you want to trace and a reciever with which to follow the wire. You may be able to find a bad "master fuse that serves these three function. Sometimes they are near the battery and positive wires going away from the battery.
hope this helps.

I'm continually being telephoned by companies who've been given my number BUT they all ask for the same person who I do not know! How do I stop this?

Ask them to tell you where they got your number from and trace back through the chain until you find the culprit.
My home number was once wrongly listed (typo) on state emergency service pamphlet (lots of calls) and once I got to the source they fixed it. Good luck!

Hello ive been given a phone number but there is definatley a phone number missing as it only has ten digits. how can i find out what this other digit is?

The problem you are having is a complicated one, there is no trick you can apply to know the missing digit, better still, let's assume you know the missing number, you can't determine the position of the missing digit among the numbers.

The only solution is to get a telephone directory around you and search for the name of the person whom you are trying to locate the number, when you get the name, trace out the number of the person and there you will get the missing digit in the telephone number.

Problem solved.

Take care

How to find unknown incaming calling location

I can think of 2 possible causes:

1) The call originated from an International location and you are seeing a partial originating telephone number.
2) The originating caller has a type of telephone service that allows their telephone system to generate the digits that appear on Caller ID displays. Their telephone is creating that strange looking telephone number.

My guess is that the first cause is the correct one.

You can try googling the numbers on the display to see if anyone else has had this happen to them. Your telephone service provider could run a trace on the call, but that would require going through a legal process that, if this is a one time event, would really not be worth the hassle.
