X2Gen MW22U monitor starting flickering upon startup a few weeks ago. The flicker would only last for awhile and then it was normal. Then a few days ago the monitor went out completely. Every time I power it up, it either blinks a little, or just gives a static/electrical noise, and then stays blank. I've only gotten it to come on a couple of times and it only lasts for a few minutes.
I saw some posts here about bad capacitors, so I took it apart to see if that was the issue. The capacitors don't appear to have any damage, but I did notice something. There's a set of four wires that connect the two circuit boards (red, orange, white, black) and the red wire is burnt at both ends ... enough that the insulation turned black and the white connector turned brown at that wire.
Any ideas on if this monitor is fixable ... and how?
