I think your birth date on file still below 18 ...because as yahoo chatroom rules under 18 user can't enter chat rooms.Till you changed your birthdate you can't enter the chatroom..or you can create some profile/alias on same yahoo ID, click here put your birth date calculating over 18 years....sign in with that alias and click join room select the alias from list , now you can go to your desire room I think.....if it not works try change your birthdate by yahoo.cn exploit link....Good luck
Most chatrooms are actually text-only chat. It saves resources. If you know there's supposed to be voice available and you have a recommended chat program (try searching MaximumPC.com for chat program notes) then maybe it's curable. The program isn't in the OS? Perhaps you're striving to remove Yahoo stuff? It takes a few bullets, doesn't it? Just remove it like malware with Malwarebytes or AVG32 or Anvir tools, and/or the program's uninstall tool so the Yahoo Robin Hood (and Friar Tuck, who restarts Robin's KO'd self) gets supressed, not being you know, a real force for good.
Tell ya what; double-check your audio mixer settings to make sure nothing is muted, get those bogus programs out of there, and your speakers on or whatever, working with Peggle demos etc. Then mention your particular program instead of the eMachines thing. That is, re-post in a forum for your chat program as well as clarifying here what's gone wrong.
after logging in ym, do you go to chatrooms? there are so-called yahoo
booters that boots your ym when you join a certain chatroom.
Make sure messenger is off, then go to regedit then open up HKEY CURRENT USER then open up SOFTWARE then open up MICROSOFT then open up WINDOWS then open up CURRENT VERSION then click on Internet Settings but dont open it just click on it then go half way down the list to find PROXY ENABLE,PROXY SERVER,PROXY OVERRIDE then click on PROXY ENABLE click modify binary and change from 0x00000000 (1) to 0x00000000 (0) then delete PROXY SERVER and PROXY OVERRIDE and there you go sign into messenger this has worked perfect for me hope it does for you.
or
It's either one of the two:
- Yahoo! servers are down for maintenance, the only fix would be to wait.
- Your connection preferences are wrong: Messenger tab just above where you sign in and then click the Connection Preference option
vista is not much different to xp ... it just has a load of extra trimmings that you dont really need. try checking your sound card drivers and make sure yahoo is set to use the appropriate device. Vista also is an operating system that takes up a lot more disk space. Bill gates likes to sell stuff that you think is improved but really its just an excuse for them to make more money. (MCSE)
