SOURCE: Ice Maker Stopped working

Hello, I don't know if this will help because the model I have is a 106.565(32)400. I have had my ice maker stop working many times because the fill tube was iced up. After about the 8th or 9th time that it did this I decided that I had to find a solution. What I came up with was that the door in front of the ice maker was keeping the tube too cold and making it freeze up. I removed the door to see if was correct. It never froze up again but the ice would fall out sometimes if you had the door open and it was in the dumping cycle. Then I drilled several 1/2" holes in the ice maker door and reinstalled it. I have had no more problems for over a year.

RC-800M Remote Control

Are you trying to use the Insignia RC-800M to control a TV or some other JVC device? How old is the JVC product? Most universal remotes won't control a device that was built within 6 months of when the remote was programmed. (Newer devices will not work at all with an older remote.)

The RC-800M code for a JVC TV is 11601. For a JVC set-top box try the codes: 00775 or 01775. For a JVC DVD or Blu-ray player, try 32365. The manuals for most of the Insignia devices which came with the RC-800M remote are available from the Insignia support site: http://www.insigniaproducts.com/support.html .

I hope this helps.

Water drips from both ends of the ice maker ice maker. Ice maker does not appear to have a crack in. Could you tell me how to fix it? Is a GE model 3 PSC23SHMD BS

Most likely your water control valve=> WR57X10032 Water Control Valve RC This page has great instructions also. Many things can affect your ice maker so I will send this movie about ice maker related problems.

I will put it like this, if you can unplug the ice maker from rear wall of freezer and water continues to flow replace water valve. If only when ice maker is plugged in then the ice maker electronics and replacing the ice maker would be your best bet, Thanks, Sea Breeze

3 posibilities. Remove bucket, dump the ice and check the auger (the metal part that spins the ice forward. 2. There is a motor behind the ice holder with 2 ears sticking out. See if you can turn it both ways with your fingers. Stiff, but it does turn. If not, many times it can be removed and left on a counter for a day to dry out. If it will then turn reinstall, and try it. If no luck, you'll need to replace it. 3. Open freezer door and inspect the shute for an obstruction including ice. If the shute is full of cubes, could be a flap door hanging up. The flap is necessary to prevent air from entering the freezer compartment.

Can the refg.be re-wired?

U-lines needs the icemaker to work properly. By doing what you did you would void all warranty. The controls are in the icemaker so the original parts would not work the way you want it to.

Produce in fridge freeze

hI back at you. Oklahoma USA here and hot. You having cooler weather there? Im not femilure with your climate but the produce drawer should have an air damper that closes off to prevent freezing. This damper may not be closing or the refg may be set to cut off an air movment fan motor and the control is faulty. If the knob you turn dosnt stop a hum when you turn it all one way or the other after 2 to 6 minutes the fan is running all the time and now yuou look for the air damper. On some models there is a motorized damper. Ice could be holding the damper open not allowing it to "dampen" freezer air off. Look in the refg compartment with the crisper trays removed and look for a hole between the freezer and refrigerator side. Could be round or square or rectangle. work the control ans see if air flow slowes or increases. Inspect with a mirror fro Ice or other blockage of the damper door.
Let em know how this works out.

Ice maker leaks with or with out power on the far right side

The water valve (or solenoid) that only lets the water through from the water supply line when the ice maker calls for it is leaking you have to replace it.
