Question about Sub-Zero MW24 Microwave Oven
Everything else works fine: power, fan, timer countdown, turntable, but there is no heat being generated in either microwave or convection heating mode.
Sounds like you either have a door switch that's not being activated, or is defective. Check the secondary (usually lower) switch first.
Another possibility could be a defective thermal cutout on the oven cavity.

I just read that starting the microwave as usual and then slightly pressing in the handle (you can hear the heater(?) come on will make the heat come on. Tried it and it works. My repairman told me it needed a new magnetron ($700) but that was totally wrong. I will be trying another repairman to replace handle mechanism.
