Had it setting for a few months unplugged . now it won't freeze . just runs. cold but not freezing
SOURCE: My fridge makes loud popping noises
Check in your owners manual for a "noise" section to see if you can identify the source. Refers make lots of unusual noises so it helps to understand if they are normal or not. Over cold in the fridge may be due to the air damper system being stuck open or food placed too close to the air duct outlet. Frost in the freezer can be due to moisture getting inside from a bad door seal, etc.

Sounds like a defrost problem. Check to see if
there is any frost buildup in the back wall of the freezer. If so, it is not
defrosting as it should.
If
you don’t know what these are then unplug the machine and let the ice melt in
the freezer overnight with the door open. Then try it the next day, if is
cooling fine then you need to have a service person replace one of the above
items. If it still has a problem then it might be the compressor and you should
probably replace the machine.

the thermostat in the fridge is turning off your compressor before the freezer has completed its job.this is because it doesnt care about the freezer temperature only the temperature where its located in this case the fridge, try completely defrosting the fridge and restarting it

Usually this is a sign of the defrost is no taking place. On base of refrigerator behind the kick plate grill is a defrost timer. Turn the timer clockwise until compressor stops. Leave in that position for up to 30 minutes. The refrigerator should restart on its own after that wait. If not turn the timer again until compressor starts and replace timer. During the time off this should have put the refrigerator into defrost and inside the freezer compartment you should hear crackling and sizzling as the defrost heater melts the ice and water drops down onto the defrost heater. If this helps let me know. The replacement part number for the defrost timer is

I think the good thing about this is your model has a defrost timer inside the fresh food compartment and behind the control panel. Look for a hole or plastic plug covering a hole about the size of a pencil and place a small flathead screwdriver in hole and slowly turn clockwise until the compressor and fans stop. This should begin the defrost cycle and remain off for about 25 minutes. Open freezer door and listen for crackling or noise of water melting and sizzling. If after 25 minutes the refrigerator does not restart slowly turn the timer clockwise again until it starts. Tell me what you find, Sea Breeze
