My Acer Lap-top Aspire 5570Z with 80GB HDD & 512 MB DDR2 is very very slow. Can its DDR2 be upgraded to 2 GB.

The machine came with Up to 512 MB of DDR2 533 MHz memory, upgradeable to 2 GB using two soDIMM modules (dual-channel support), each 1 GB. If you have already or someone has increased the memory, you might have to remove a 512 chip to use a 1 GB chip.

According to page 6 of the manual, your 3610 came with system memory 256/512 MB of DDR2 400 memory, and is upgradeable to 2 GB using two soDIMM modules.

You can see a list of sources for your memory here. Additionally, you could go to Crucial's site and perform a scan of your computer for suggestions of memory upgrades.
