One possibility is that the Mirror behind the lense is dirty but I think that this also may be the light tunnel issue that I explained in a couple of other posts about the SP4805.

It will be the light tunnel. Apparently it is very common in the 4805. See here for how to fix it, by the way you cant get parts so its a DIY job. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=6744737#post6744737
Hello David, The best way to find the best price is to do some hunting/research. Google "infocus 4805 lamp" and wade through to find the best price. You will find instructions on the lamp replacement procedure in the manual. If you dont have the user manual browse to www.projectorcentral.com and search infocus 4805 and on their spcifications page there is a "user manual" Acrobat PDF icon. click on the icon to open the manual in pdf format
Color wheel disc is broken and not repairable, problem is unless you know someone that can get the part you have to take your projector to an authorised service centre.
