SOURCE: dv6000 443775-001 power issue

At the risk of subjecting myself to your possible wrath, I suggest you replace the motherboard. I don't know your computer repair prowess, and am not doubting it for a minute, but I 'stand' here to tell you, that it's just not that simple.

The hardware components are installed down into a bare motherboard. The leads for the hardware components are in their 'raw' state, where they hang down past the motherboard. Then the motherboard is heated up using a hot air soldering method, and the solder flows over the leads making a precise, pretty little solder joint. This is done with robotics. Once this is accomplished, the extra length of lead is snipped off.
Some components are installed by hand. Very few of them. The operator uses a soldering station, and an instrument that magnifies the area by a great amount. Looks like a binocular microscope. One, two ,three, and the next motherboard comes up, and the same part, by the same operator is installed once more.

Again, not doubting your expertise in this area, but if you have use much heat, or linger too long, you stand the chance of making the copper circuit trace, lift right off of the motherboard, when you go to remove a component. Not enough heat, and you can't remove enough solder, nor get the lead to come out of the hole. (I use solder wick. Also known as Desoldering Braid. Solder ****** tools are for the bird's! (Desoldering Tool)

Same thing with soldering a new component in place. Too much heat or linger too long,....well you know what happens. Not enough heat, or staying in position long enough, plus using the right technique, you get a cold solder joint. It's a lot of fun, when you reassemble the laptop all the way, and find this! Guess what happens next? Yep! Do it all over again!

I'm not a saleman for Ebay, but I find a lot of my motherboards for laptops on there. I would also suggest looking at -> Laptops for Parts.

Why won't our Lorex Care and Share monitor work with the camera?

Make sure you have the proper power adapter plugged into the camera. It should be a 5V~1A power adapter.

I want to buy a battery charger. Where do I purchase?

Hello
The external power adapter for your device is for [6VDC - 1 Ampere]. You can use any adapter with this capacity to charge the battery inside the your Philips Da1000. Brand is not matter, but the voltage and current is. Just check the DC socket polarity. It is the main thing that ahs to be checked. Some sets will have outer (+ve), and some others have (Outer (--ve). This will be marked at the DC in terminal of your radio. It is best to be the set in hand, when you go to buy a new one. This adapter can be bought from most of the electronic spare parts selling shops at your town. Philips has designated as [6V direct current, positive pole to current pin] as pin confuguration for the AC adapter. If so outer ring connection will be (--ve). Anyway, make sure about it before buying a new one. OK.

My graco monitor has one red light and a row of green, instead of all green, and it is not making any sound anymore

Try pairing the parent and nursery units again. First, turn off all of the units. Place the broken parent unit within 5 feet of the nursery unit. Turn on the parent unit. Turn on the nursery unit. Within a few seconds, the top 4 green LEDs should shut off. Then you'll hear a few beeps and the connection LED should turn from red to green. If this doesn't work, power off and try again using the AC adapters instead of battery power. I did it without plugging in the parent unit but the battery died as soon as the units paired up again. It's working fine from the docking station though.

Replaced the 4 AAA batteries still does not work

There may be a button battery on the bottom side of the camera. Look for a circle about 3/4 of an inch in diameter with a screwslot in the middle. This battery number is "usually" CR2032.

Trigger voltage doesn't have anything to do with the power source. Even though you're only giving it 6V (4 1.5V batteries), it ramps it up internally for the photo tube.

Old cameras used a mechanical switch to fire the flash, so the voltage didn't matter.

New cameras, like your XT, have an electronic switch and eventually will burn out, like Anonymous said. They want 6V at the hotshoe. You're giving it 56V... I know it works now, but it'll fry it eventually. You can get a hotshoe adapter that will isolate the voltage from the camera.

Doesnt stay on

This camera eats the batteries. I have had the same problem. I would suggest buying rechargeable batteries and keeping them fresh. It will work fine with a new set of batteries. The 30 day battery life is a lie. More like a couple days if that. I use this for paranormal research and since I don't need it in a field or trail, I have a conversion from D cell to 110 volt below.

BE-4AA adapter, four AA to D size shell adapters along with a 110VAC to 12VDC adapter . This will give you 4 D size cells and an output voltage of 6VDC @ 500mA, from a 110VAC source.

But if this in on a game trail, there will not be a use for the 110 volt. Bushnell needs to review this camera alittle better and fix it's energy drain.
