SOURCE: I cannot find hdtv channels on my viewsonic n1930w

Are you trying to get the HD signal from the roof antenna or from cable? when you set the tuner to scan for channels make sure it is set for 'CABLE' if you are on cable, or 'AIR' if using roof antenna.

SOURCE: viewsonic N1930W input menu missing

According to this image, the input you are looking for is marked 'G'.

You would then use the Input button on your remote control to select that option. The OSD does not support selection of the input.

Power locked viewsonic n1930w

On the tv itself hold down CHANNEL button and hold the MENU button then press the POWER button, You will get into the service menu. from here I went in to the CARNIVAL menus and changed the PW setting then backed out... Power button worked. Then I went back in and played with everything else... but in the end left everything the way it was in the end. I suggest you do the same. Good luck.

Keep loseing local channels , change antenna 4times allways resetting channels gain and lose

Hi, I may have the answer for you. Your (TV) is very sensative to off air stations (anntena).
If you are near a cell tower or Power lines your TV tuner will have a harder time finding anything.
You may need to switch to Cable or dish to recieve anything worth watching. Most off air channels
will fade away because of DTV. If you have a chance Google (digital TV) for your search.
Good luck...

My setanta sports and sky channels are gone

You could try this,

sometimes channels change frequency so they dont work, have u tried a factory reset 0000 to delete, power off at back/on and autoscan ur provider, and emu to on,usually brings them back,do not scan thru splitters as u will lose channels.

Playing vcr causes new digital tv to lose saved channels

Vizio representative suggested connecting antenna directly to TV and not through the VCR. In doing this, we lose the ability to record on the VCR but we record elsewhere and watch downstairs. The problem is solved on losing channels. I must add that we watch and record on a Sharp digital TV upstairs and do not lose channels. I don't know why the VCR had this effect on this Vizio TV.

Cannot keep all channels on tv

When you say you "lose" channels, you probably mean there's no signal there anymore but they are still in the channel memory. This is normal if you have a rotatable antenna. You need to mark the rotator (or just keep a chart nearby) with the heading for each channel.

If you mean you're losing channels from memory when rescanning after turning the antenna, the only solution I can offer is to record the channels found (and their signal levels) after scanning a direction. Then change directions and rescan. See what new channels have been found, what have been lost, or how signal level has changed on common channels. Then you can manually add whatever you need, and you'll know what direction is best for each. It's tedious, but you should only need to do it once.
