Question about Gestetner Dsm415pf Digital Imaging Sytem gdsm415pf
Hello , I have a problem with a Gestetner Dsm415pf .. Is is giving me an error that says "Follow Instructions in right cover to remove.. " I looked into the right cover and i see not paper jam or anything.. How can i fix this?

hi if u cant find any bit of paper in paper path may be any path sensor out of order or may be dusty sensor just clean the all paper path sensors

If you are shore that there is no paper on the machine you probably have a problem with a sensor.
I saw sometimes a broken gate in the fuser unit that causes this symptom.
Try to look at the fuser unit, you will see a blue plastic gate, in front of that there is a black one that sometimes breaks and the sensor not work properly.
If this is the case you have to change that gate. In any cases i advise you to call your provider to solve that.

The only way to reset the jam code is to find the tiny scrap of paper that is still caught in one of the sensors. The 121 jam code is "Exit Sensor Off", essentially it means that the paper did not reach the exit sensor. This would not cause the machine to still think there was a jam, as the paper obviously never made it there.
Check and make sure you have fully closed all the doors, including the front. If that is good, then open and close all the doors one by one. If that doesn't work, then there is a scrap of paper still stuck in the machine somewhere.
If you can't see one anywhere, then it probably is a scrap stuck at the registration sensor, which is just below the registration roller. I've seen this many times, and unless you really get in there and look closely (Flashlight helps), you will never see. It's a major pain to fish it out, so good luck.
