How do i descale

Hi, first we'll need the make and model of the unit in order to answer your question.

Usually, however, it involves half-filling the machine with spirit (white) vinegar and running a cycle with the vinegar and then rinsing with clean water a few times until the machine stops smelling like a chip-shop.

White vinegar can be used on the outside of a water bed mattress to clean it, can it also be used inside the mattress to keep it bacteria free?

I watched a magic school bus cartoon once where they shrank down and went into a pickle jar. The show mentioned that the friendly bacteria was fighting off the harmful bacteria. Hence it is never bacteria free. I don't see any harm of vinegar being inside except that it is an acid and acids slowly dissolve anything.

Are there any good chemical free products to clean my grill pan with?

I'll let you in on a little chef secret: White onion! Cut an onion in half, stab the round part with a fork. Heat up the pan or griddle and rub the onion across it. This will help remove all the gunk that gets stuck there.

How to cook hamburgers - temperature, etc.

Hi,

Prepare Patties

1. Put minced scallions and chopped mushrooms in bowl.
2. Add red wine vinegar.
3. Add ground beef to bowl.
4. Mix everything together with your hands.
5. Flatten the beef into four patties that are 1/2-inch thick and 5 inches in diameter.

Cook Patties

1. Set stove-top grill or burner to medium-high.
2. Preheat nonstick frying pan. The pan is the correct temperature when a drop of water dances on its surface rather than sticking to it.
3. Place patties in the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Flip patties and cook for another minute, and then add sliced cheese to the tops of patties if desired.
5. Cover pan and allow burgers to cook for a final 2 minutes. Cook 3 to 4 minutes for well-done burgers.
6. Remove hamburgers from pan and place in hamburger buns.
7. Add condiments and toppings such as ketchup, mustard, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, red onions and pickles.

What descaler can i use for my russell hobbs slipstream 14862

The cheapest and most environmentaly friendly de scaler is spirit vinegar otherwise known as white vinegar.
Pour some in the tank and let the iron get hot.
Steam on some old cloth a few times and then when it is clean, refil with de ionized water and flush through a few times.
Hope this helps.

I have done a deep nozle clean on the printer but the yellow still doesn't seem to be working

Sometimes you may need to run quite a few cleaning cycles to get it to work. 10-20 or more. You can try cleaning the print head using white vinegar and a lint free swab. The vinegar dissolves any dried ink build ups. This can make any ink jet printer work just like new if you do a good job. BTW it can be messy and you better like smelling like a pickle ;-]

Iron puts out water which stains clothes. Steam is not dependable

Replace your iron. You can try cleaning the old one with either white or the stronger pickling vinegar, but for all the trouble that will be it is easier to just replace your iron. If future use ONLY distilled water, bought at any supermarket or water store, in your new iron.
