Frigidaire PLHS267ZCB4 side by side, no ice or water, not cooling

I see that the icemaker on your Frigidaire refrigerator works intermittently. I would like to ask you some troubleshooting questions. When was the last time you replaced your water filter? Have you checked to verify the water valve is completely opened? I would also check to make sure there are no kinks in your water line. I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FRS26R4A, stopped making ice. Here are a couple of suggestions you may try, to get your ice maker to produce ice.

1)Make sure that the wire signal arm, inside the bucket area, is in the down or ON position.
2)Make sure your household water line valve is open and on.
3)Make sure your freezer is cold enough.
4)Make sure the water dispenser is dispensing water. If not, the ice & water filter cartridge is clogged or restricted by foreign material, and must be replaced.

Hi,
Hollow ice cubes are a result of lack of water to ice maker. This can be caused by lack of water pressure (clogged filter, bad water valve, obstructed fill tube, etc..) you will need to find the cause to correct this hollow ice cube issue. The ice maker should take on 5.5 oz of water when it cycles (2/3 cup). Mot of the time its a water supply issue and the line could be kinked behind the unit as it was rolled back into place.

Hello Jim czyryca - From what you are describing if the ice maker is not making ice but is dispensing water, sounds like the refrigerator has a frozen water line, faulty ice maker valve or bad component that sends power to the ice maker valve when needed. The ice maker cycles internally to call for water so I strongly suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately to assist with the repairs.

Its defrost issue.
Defrost cycle is not taking place on time or its not working at all.

check ice maker for ice if none put 4oz . of water in icemaker let it freeze if it does not turn ice out and ice maker is on replace it

We have a similar fridge were told that it has a resivoir inside that needs to fill with water before it will start to dispense water. Had to stand holding in the actuator for quite a while befrore it started putting out any water. Shoud be the same with the ice maker, but there is an arm inside the freezer that controls how much ice you get it could be turned off.

what filter? drying filter? Water filter? Dust Filter?

sounds like you got a water valve problem. it will be found at the lower back side of fridge where the water hook up is at.
