This problem is caused by a flat BIOS battery. Replace this battery with a new battery.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My asus is not letting my date and time update correctly

Press the settings icon on your home screen, then scroll all the way to the bottom. The last section is called System, and Date & time is one of its headings. Press it and then select your time zone and choose whether to use automatic date and time or set them manually.

My dell inspiron 1525 was updating and when it got to the 3 of 3 update it wouldn't go past 0% and then it will restart itself and do it over again

Switch ON the PC, boot the PC in 'Safe Mode' by continuously tapping F8 button after you switch On.

Let windows boot in Safe Mode and log in to windows.

Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->System Restore

Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next
Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the previous month by clicking the '<' sign in the upper left hand corner of the Month Calendar and select any date that you see in Bold.

The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.

Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot.

After reboot your problem should be resolved.

WARNING: kalydo loader corrupted! Reinstall the player to fix this problem. What does it means ? help me please.

This problem can not be solved by simply restarting the browser. Re-install of the Kalydo Player by uninstalling it from 'Control Panel' - 'Programs and Features' and download and install the game again.

Another possible cause is that the computer's date and time are not configured properly. The problem should be resolved by setting a proper system date and time and then, after rebooting the computer, verify that the date and time are correct. It is important that system date and time are correct when Windows is started.

If the problem persists it may be caused by a problem in the Windows cryptographic service due to an update patch to windows or other reasons. The solution may be one of the methods given at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B822798&Product=winxp. Method number 3 has solved the problem for some users.

Hello.

Sounds like the update was corrupted or had corrupted files.

Boot your system to Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly). Go to System Restore and choose a date when your system worked OK. Note: with System Restore, all your updates will roll back to that date.

Hope this resolves your problem.

Try changing it at DOS:

Restart and try de updates again.

the issue is with the updates which have been downloaded on the system ... so u can do one thing when you see the first screen where u see the memory counts start tapping the F8 key and than select the option that is safe mode and when u get the loggin screen if you have the option for administrator than loggin in to that account and if u dont have that option than go in to ur account and than it will give u a pop up select the yes option and than when u have the desktop click on the start > programs > system tools > system restore and than select the date when the system was working fine ... but mind it if u had installed any software after that date it will be lost ... the system will restart on its own and the issue would be resolved

IBook G3 900mhz 14" lcd

The date and time are held by the battery so I would guess the battery is going dead or is. Try keeping it plugged in and shut it down for a few then reboot. If the time and date stay good guess the battery is dead. Also make sure you get the power management firmware update from apple. hope it helps

I updated windows automatic updates and it kept telling me to restart the computer so i postponed it for 4 hours. i then left the computer not shutting it down correctly. now windows will not start...

Turn on PC or restart it if it is running and keep pressing F8 during restart.

On screen that will appear choose to start it in "Safe Mode"

When it starts go to Start - Accessories - System tools - System restore - Restore my computer to an earlier time - choose restore point before the date and time when update was done.

Restoring can take a lot of time so be patient even if you think that progress bar is stuck it is still working. Make sure you choose the restore point older than update time.
