Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry but I do not know your particular machine and I do not have the cause of F63- not in my list-BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters.
Here are my complete, general pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the filter and the motor ;-0)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob.
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!
Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

heres your problem..
3.33 Fault code F63, water path control unit In normal operation mode the display shows Technical fault. The Check inlet LED flashes rapidly. The programme is interrupted. The drain pump is activated for 120 s. Cause Water path control system faulty. The power-programme module (ELP) cannot register a valid position of the water path control unit within approx. 80 s of it being switched on.
Note: Water intake monitoring is not active if a valid position of the water path control unit cannot be registered.
Remedy Check the water path control system. Check the water path control system circuit for an open or short circuit, and correct insulation.

Just thought I'd add some feedback here which may help someone (March 2013). We have a Miele Novotronic W1613 washing machine which developed a "Technical Error F63". I contacted Miele, and they told me that this required a "PC download" to fix - basically, updating the software in the washing machine. If you look at the front of the W1613, just below the Start button is what looks like a little glass LED, labelled "PC". This is a fibre-optic link access to the washing machine's processor. Miele very kindly agreed to fix the machine free of charge (we were actually a few days out of the two-year warranty). The engineer used a suction cup to connect a fibre-optic link to his PC, and updated the machine's software. This solved the problem! Obviously, this is not the sort of problem that can be fixed by yourself...
