Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
I am about to use 'No More Yellow' product to remove rust stains from sheets. Directions include how much must be used 'per gallon'. I have a whirlpool type 111 model # 2DLSQ7533JQ2. How many gallons of water is used on 'small', 'medium' and 'large' load settings? I just want to add the right amount of product...

Hello. Yes there is a fill level pressure switch. It is pressure activated by the pressure of water rising in a tube as the water rises in the tub. It's easy to find and easy to replace. Look for the tube and follow it to the switch. Parts for Kenmore are available at 1-800-516-9625 or at http:\www.sears.com.

If this happens only on small load cycle , then it can be a faulty timer board.
however check also the water level switch, when there is overfilling this part is always the first suspect.

SOURCE: Would like to know how
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Presumably this information is not in the manual?
Your best bet would be the manufacturer's or vendors' sites. That sort of information the ordinary guys and gals on this forum, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web, are not likely to have at hand, I would think ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. Your water level switch is what controls the amount of water going into the washer. It may be bad, but check the water inlet valve first. It may be clogged also. It is possible that the water pump has something blocking the path of the water. It will need to be checked as well. If all these check out, it may be your actual switch that controls the selections of water heights. They can go bad as well.
