SOURCE: My ST40 bidata was working
If this is being used with a transom mount transducer, then you want to make sure it's adjusted properly and that the "pitot tube", so to speak, is clear and that the tubing is not kinked, collapsed, or obstructed. I don't believe these come with a wheel to measure the speed so, you will have to first check your tubing and check for clogs and obstructrions. Check the routing and make sure everything is clear. If you have any doubts, start by relacing the tubing, then the transducer, if no sucess.
