1. Make sure you have used the correct fuel to oil mix in the tank.
2. Set on/off switch to ON position.
3. Pull out the choke switch to (full choke position)
4. Prime the carb by pumping the primer bulb on the carb until fuel fills the bulb.
5. Pull over saw until the saw fires.
6. Push in the choke switch.
7. Pull over and the saw should start.

Hi I have a Husqvarna model 236 chainsaw its starts when its cold but not after it warms up why help sisc of pulling the rope

There can be a number of things that effect a poor hot start, engine over heating due to dull chain, engine running to lean ( H mixture screw incorrectly set ) stale fuel, ignition unit faulty, to help with a hot start push the fuel puge bulb 5 times, pull the choke pull out and in again to give part throttle crank engine.

I have 236 husqvarna.and its seems it using oil too much.nearly the same as petrol.is any adjutment on it or its something wrong??or its should be like this??

There is no adjustment on the oil pump, the machine should run out of fuel before it runs out of chain oil, if this is how it is there is no problem, if not the oil is most likly leaking out of the tank

Respected Sir, I purchase a Husqvarna's chainsaw last week Model 236- 14". but I cant start it. I read manual carefully, every thing is OK. but Chainsaw can't start yet. So I request you,...

Checklist:

2-cycle oil mixed with FRESH gasoline
Spark plug wire pushed onto spark plug
Chain tight but you can still move it forward with your hand
Switch turned on
Pull the cord a few times, and then let it sit for a few minutes in case it's 'flooded' with fuel

If a new chain saw won't start, it probably has defective spark coil
Chain saws usually don't cause problems fresh out of the box, they stop working if people leave gasoline in the tank for a couple months each time.

Here's what I would do
Empty the tank of gas. Put fresh gas-n-oil into tank (not gas from an old can that was sitting there for a while)
Try starting again.
If no luck, then take it back and exchange for another.

Good luck sir.

Brand new 359 chainsaw won't start

As this is a brand new chainsaw, DO NOT start taking it apart and tinkering with it, for the simple reason that it is covered by the Husqvarna warranty and you should be able to have it either repaired or replaced without cost to you!

Here's the web link for Husqvarna customer support. You can also contact the place you purchased it from, as they should be an authorized dealer in order to sell the Husqvarna chainsaw products.

http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/customer-support/

IF, you bought this from a friend, etc., it would still be covered if it's new and unused when you purchased it.

That is the best recommendation you can get for resolving your issue and to keep your warranty valid.

Since without more detailed information, (gas is flowing into carb, spark plug getting spark, good compression, plug not fouled, on/off switch not malfunctioning, kick back/chain bfreak working, etc., etc.), no one can possibly provide an answer to resolve the issue.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Brand new husqvarna 445, won't start

Try not giving any throttle when first starting. The newer trimmers are this way many times. (Maybe the newer chainsaws are this way now.)You prime the carburetor, set the choke and pull, but don't throttle until it runs for 10 or 15 seconds.
