There is a lack of communication between the monitor and video card. Try reseating if add-on video card. Make sure monitor is set to correct input, like VGA (analog), DVI, HDMI, or Display Port. Try testing with another monitor.

This is a backlight problem. I can still see very faint images moving when mine goes black, i.e. while watching a movie. Anyone know how resolve this backlight problem. Probably a faulty hear sensor if it has one.

SOURCE: dell vista will not boot up

Typically, it's a memory problem. If you have multiple memory modules, leave one in the CPU at a time and boot your system todetermine which module is bad. Good luck.

Detech Input message on the screen at the starting

I have the same monitor and assume you have both analog and digital inputs. In other words, both a DVI and standard analog monitor input. I noticed on mine that there was a "factory reset" on the menu. Have you tried that? What type of video card are you connecting to? DVI? Do you have any adapters or gender changers connected to it?

Let me know.

You want to receive the optical signal from the TV's built in decoder / receiver to play through your Kenwood? Maybe you need to select the digital input. The manual says:

Use the INPUT SELECTOR key (or Input Selector keys)
to select DVD, VIDEO or FRONT AUX.

2 Press the INPUT MODE key.
Each press switches the setting as follows:

1 "F-AUTO": Auto detect
("AUTO DETECT" indicator lights up)

2 "D-MANUAL": Fixed to digital input
("DIGITAL" indicator lights up)

3 "ANALOG": Fixed to analog input *
("AUTO DETECT", "DIGITAL" indicator goes off)

Also check your TV to make sure it is outputting to the optical jack.
