Question about MP3 Rocket

I fixed MP3 Rocket Crashes but can't update Java???

Ok...I fixed the problem with MP3 crashing. I uninstalled all Java instances and Mp3 Rocket from the add/remove programs. Then I rebooted. I then re-installed MP3 Rocket(with NO Java on my 'Puter) making sure that ALL the box's were checked beside,"add mp3 rocket extension," to all browsers. Then MP3 rocket started downloading Java for me except it is an outdated version..."Java(TM)SE Runtime Environment 6 update 1, OR 1.6.0." BUT MP3 works perfect now! No crashes at all! NOW the problem is...when I update Java (6-update-1) to the latest Java (7-Update-21,) it causes MP3 to crash again. The new updated Java is in the "plug-ins," section in Google Chrome. How can I update Java AND keep my MP3 Rocket from crashing? I need the updated version of java to run some of my programs. I am not very 'Puter savvy and I feel like Rodney King about right now...I mean...can't they all just get along? Anybody? Help? Please? Thank you for your time, Tina

SOURCE: I have downloaded and installed

Installing Flash Player can be a little tricky. here is the web site to download. You may as well get the player before you try the rocket again;
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
First of all, if you have any prior versions of FLASH PLAYER, reader, etc. is fine, uninstall before you install this. You can uninstall in programs and features. Click on the download then, get out of all apps you're in,ie; Internet Explorer, etc., also make sure you"re not signed in to mail services like "live Messenger or Yahoo that are accessing the web. When you are downloading click next and allow all things that come up to run. If something is interfereing with the download, a window will pop up and list those items. You can minimize and correct then come back, see that item missing from box, and continue. when all is finished, restart system. After restart go to your programs and features and see if Adobe Flash Player 10 is now in your list. Now download your rocket.

Why does java stop working trying to download a movie on mp3 rocket on windows 10?

Possibly Rocket not compatible with newest version of Java. You might have to download an older version of Java. I could check out the Rocket requirements page to see what version of Java they recommend.

Crash

There is a ongoing problem with software using Java. Java requires constant updating due to security issues, the software that uses Java must keep pace, often they do not. POGO games is a good example, I've found the Java 1.6.0.29 version works, but when you open POGO it asked you to update Java, If you do it will not work, Go Figure? That said your MPS Rocket may be different and of course there tech support will tell you it's a Java Issue. Open Control Panel, select Java, open Java tab, view, what version are listed? Take a look at the other settings, exceptions, etc. The newest version of Java 1.7.0.21 32 or 64bit, that may be a issue, your OS is 32 or 64bit? You may have to add 32 bit Java to a 64 bit OS. It can be a bit of a handful.

Why can't I access my jarfile\MP3Rocket.jar

You are likely experiencing this error because of an error with the java files that are on your computer. You see, some part of the java installation is corrupted when you receive this type of error. Java controls all aspects of MP3 Rocket's functions, even starting up. When Java is corrupted, it appears that MP3 Rocket is broken when really it may not be. You cannot physically inspect Java to be sure it installed properly so you must first do an uninstall, a restart, and then the Java installation followed by the Rocket installation.
This should correct your problem.

You can download the Flash Player here;
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Make sure you don'ty have any prior versions of Flash Player in your system before download. You also might want Java;
http://www.java.com/en/
If you already have Java make sure it's up to date. You can do this by going into :device manager" and clicking on icon then, click on the update tag.
