I cannot afford to get sick because I have a full-time job and I attend college at night. Health insurance is too expensive for me at this time as I pay for rent, food, clothes, transportation, and tuition. Sometimes, I get a cold or flu and use only aspirin and cough drops to get by. I cannot afford to miss classes because It would be a waste of my tuition. My job does not have paid sick days, so I cannot afford any absences. Illness has no place on my calendar or in my budget, however, illness finds a place in my life.
