Hi Tammie, my name is Kimberly and I forma part of the Social Media Department with DISH. I Apologize for the delayed response. I hope this answer helps you in the future or can help someone else that may have the same question. In order to hook up a Joey to Audio all you need to do is make sure you will be connecting the Joey's output into the Audio's Input. For example if you will be connecting the joey directly to the Tv, using an HDMI cable, the Joeys Output for HDMI has to simply connect into the Input for HDMI on the Tv itself. Feel free to reach me at: kimberly.escobar@dish.com with any questions or concerns.

Joey linked to wrong hopper

To change which hopper your Joey is linked to if you go to the Joey and get the remote.
If you press menu, go to settings then to network setup, selected on whole home.
Now on the screen you will see the devices listed use the remote to highlight the correct hopper and press select and then save.

I have a RCA Home Theater System RT2380BK I have the speakers wired but i want to hook it up to my dish network when I'm watching movies. Can u help me?

The dish network reciever should have audio and video out on the back, If its a HD device it should also have COAX out (hd audio) get the cables for audio and feed the into a input on the back of your home theater system, there should be several inputs, usually labled like video 1 video 2, tape deck etc etc. the audio in are red and white or red and black usually, the coax connector is orange, and you only need one cable to hook that up. If you have HD audio on the dish network that will sound best in your home theatere system

I am trying to hook up my Philips 19PR19 (made in 1998) tv to the dish network receiver, it has 3 prongs diff. colors attached and the cable cord is already to go in the wall...I don't see anywhere on the...

Because your TV is an older one, it might not have, what they call RCA inputs (the 3 colored cable) Red-audio right, White-audio left, Yellow-video. If I understand you.

You do have the option of using the 75-ohm coaxial cable inputs. Signal comes in from outside to the 722k, Output of the 722k to the 75ohm coax input on the back of the TV. Tune your TV to ch. 3 or 4. Make sure the switch on the back of the 722k is set to the same.

If you really want to use the RCA colored cables, then you need to buy an RF modulator, which integrates older tv's to newer products. But usually dvd players, not necessarily cable boxes, but it would work if hooked up correctly.

You plug the RCA red, white and yellow from the 722k, into the rf modulator, choose channel 3 or 4 on the modulator

Connect 75ohm coax cable from rf modulator to TV 75ohm coax cable input. Choose channel 3 or 4 on the TV.

Hope this helps.

I had the adapter plugged into the socket. And the other cord in the back of the NES but I dont know where to plug it in? The only place it can go into is the back of the dish network receiver. is that...

The RF adapter is supposed to hook up to either your TV or VCR. If neither has a plug that fits, you may need an RF modulator. (I don't think the receiver port would work, but I'm not positive.)

If you have a audio/video cable (you can get them from a dollar store depending on where you live) and a y-splitter, you can use the ports on the side instead. Hook the video straight in and use the y-splitter to split the one audio cable that fits into two and hook it up that way. (This method assumes you are in an NTSC region such as North America or Japan)

Whichever method you choose, good luck. (If you have a VCR with that plug, you don't need an RF modulator since the VCR will do it's job.)
