MP3 Rocket Crashes! Screen goes black

Ok...let me try to articulate my dilemma a little better this time. I recently updated to MP3Rocket Pro and everything was working fine for about a month. Then out of the blue it started crashing. The screen would go black then flicker back on, then off again. Sometimes it would do this after I downloaded a few songs, and other times right away. I uninstalled all instances of the old Java and Mp3 Rocket and then uninstalled and re-installed both the new MP3Rocket Pro and Java 7 Update 21 repeatedly to no avail. I also made sure Java applets were enabled in the Java control panel. However, I did get a Trojan recently(not from them I don't think?:)) and subsequently a lot of files were deleted. Did something possibly get deleted from my system that is necessary to run these two programs properly? Could it be that Java is configured wrong? Oh and one other thing... Every time MP3 crashes and the screen goes black, an error message pops up that reads... ERROR:"VPU recover has reset your graphics accelerator as it is no longer responding to graphic driver commands!" I don't know if it is the above stated error that is causing MP3 to crash, OR...MP3 is causing the error! I am using "Windows XP Professional- 32 bit" and Google Chrome browser if that matters at all. If anybody can help me I would greatly appreciate it! Sincerely, ~Tina~

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: I have downloaded and installed

Installing Flash Player can be a little tricky. here is the web site to download. You may as well get the player before you try the rocket again;
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
First of all, if you have any prior versions of FLASH PLAYER, reader, etc. is fine, uninstall before you install this. You can uninstall in programs and features. Click on the download then, get out of all apps you're in,ie; Internet Explorer, etc., also make sure you"re not signed in to mail services like "live Messenger or Yahoo that are accessing the web. When you are downloading click next and allow all things that come up to run. If something is interfereing with the download, a window will pop up and list those items. You can minimize and correct then come back, see that item missing from box, and continue. when all is finished, restart system. After restart go to your programs and features and see if Adobe Flash Player 10 is now in your list. Now download your rocket.

SOURCE: I just installed Mp3Rocket but

You can download the Flash Player here;
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Make sure you don'ty have any prior versions of Flash Player in your system before download. You also might want Java;
http://www.java.com/en/
If you already have Java make sure it's up to date. You can do this by going into :device manager" and clicking on icon then, click on the update tag.

2. Uninstall the non-working version.
Uninstall or change program Windows Help
3. Install the re-downloaded version.
4. Open My Computer.
5. Locate the MP3Rocket.exe file. Double-clicking on this file should start the installation for the program.

Why can't I use MP3rocket on my windows 8 64-bit laptop. The software keeps freezing up every time I try to use it

Are you sure the software is compatible with Windows 8 and 64-bit installations?
You could also check and make sure that you don't have the 32-bit version installed.

Whenever i search something on mp3rocket it goes to youtube how do i fix it?

The mp3 rocket team is working on a fix. It appears that you tube updated it's search algorithms and that is causing a conflict with the music search. More information can be found here: http://www.mp3rocketsupport.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6481 I posted a comment but it didn't seem to show up so i apologize if it turns out to come out in both fields. Hope this helped!

jka1973 is correct. In order to download MP3 Rocket again, just go to their login page and enter your name and email address. Once logged in, go to the top left-hand corner. In tiny print it says, "Install MP3 Rocket". Click on that and then click on the large blue icon in the centre of that page that says, Install Downloading Sofware. You should be good to go! :) Here is the link: http://www.mp3rocket.com/login.php
