Question about Angelcare Deluxe Movement Sensor & Sound Baby Monitor

LCD Screen on Angel Care Monitor - has gone bad

Both of the Displays on my Parent Monitors have gone Bad... It still works to "monitor" what is going on in the baby's room - but the Display is not lighting up all the way - same thing with both parent units - the system is a little over 2 years old - and I want to use it for baby # 2... Is this fixable or covered under warranty?

SOURCE: THE PARENT UNIT DOESNT SEEM

The units are not locking in to the same frequency and if this is new it must be referrred back . However if this was working earlier then there could be a shift in the communicating frequencies between the master and slave.
So remove battery of allthe units and replace after 15 minutes.,Try a reset if desccribed in the manual or the procedure for intial set up once again .

Hp g6 screen fades out

The lcd screen or video card inside the computer is going bad. To isolate the problem connect an external monitor to the laptop. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker to connect to the laptop.

Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can be any kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vga cable to connect to your computer's vga port. If the external monitor displays without a probem that proves your video card is ok and your lcd screen is going bad. If the external monitor displays by fading in and out like your lcd screen, then your video card inside the computer is going bad.

The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

VX924 (Silver, Black) 19" LCD Monitor: monitor has suddenly gone white...

My VX924 did the same thing but now displays nothing and power switch light just blinks. According to an answer listed on previous page, it may have bad capacitors. I may have to take a look at them. Viewsonic repair facility examination of this monitor runs $70.

I rebooted my PC and now screen is darker and my colors are off

Check the contrast (darkness/lightness) on your Samsung LCD. There's a menu button on the monitor, press that and select contrast setting from the Menu.

Since you have tried another monitor with your computer, then we can only assume that your LCD monitor had gone bad.
If the light is green but you can't see anything on the screen, then most likely the backlight has gone bad. Unless you want to take the monitor apart, I would suggest buying a new monitor.

My become like horzantal lines+become not

Disconnect the Monitor from the PC, and keep it still powered on. If it displays horizontal lines, it means monitor has gone bad. If not then go to PC's BIOS, if it shows lines there then your graphics card/chipset has gone bad. Else its your graphics driver/operating system. Can try an update/reinstallation of driver.

Monitor starts then goes off, no signal

I would check the LCD against another monitor. It does not have to be a LCD, a regular monitor will do.
This will tell you 2 things, 1. The Video card is good or bad, 2. The Cable is sendinf a good signal.
If when you startup the monitor, you see a display and then after a few seconds it display's a no signal message, this is consistant with a Bad cable or cable ends. or Bad VGA card from computer.
Hope this helps. Good luck..
P.S. If you have move the PC, you may want to open the unit, and re-seat the Card. If the card is not making a solid connect on the board, it will display these syptoms.

Monitor displays breifly then goes to blank screen

The power -inverter board probably needs an overhaul.
I redo many of these.
If the screen was pinkish or flickering before it finally got to this point, it is possible that a bulb has gone bad.

Monitor

hi,
Unplug the monitor from the back of your computer tower. If the LCD is not displaying any Video the monitor has gone bad. If it displays self test feature check window. It could be a graphic card driver problem.
