SOURCE: how do I connect the propane to the grill?

if it uses the little one pound green gas cylinders they normally push and click on the gas inlet and stay in place due to two small little metal pressure bands which release when you pull the gas cylinder back off. make sure its in the off position when you are putting it on. good luck.

Your local propane supplier. They are made of a special material so that propane won't react with it.

Hooked up proane tank used once then no flame on grill. There is propane in the tank but no propane flows out of it either when hooked up to the grill or when opening the valve directly on the tank. This...

The valve on the tank has an internal valve that will not allow you to release propane into the atmosphere. It must be connected to a regulator line in order to open.
It sounds like your regulator has failed. Remove the regulator assembly, inspect it carefully for blockage or hose kinks. If there none, try replacing the regulator assembly.

Unable to get gas our of 'Blue Rhino" propane

The problem is an easy fix. Replace the current Hose/Regulator Assembly with a new one. They run about $30.00, at home centers and hardware stores that sell grills and accessories.

Once you install the new one and connect it to the gas tank, open the gas tank valve Very Very Slowly (Slow Motion, Slow) until it's fully open. If you don't do it this, the new regulator will lockup.

Hope this helps you & thanks for choosing FixYa.

My webber genesis 1000 has been loosing power the past few days (yes the tank is full) it will not warm up past 200 -250. any idea what may be the prob? thank you

If your grill runs on propane, it may be a failing regulator. Try replacing the regulator and hose, not very expensive and easy to do.

We converted our weber Q q120 so it would work off our RV propane tank. It has a very low flame. We took the regulator off the grill and are using quick connect and a 15 ft hose to the grill. Help?

Your RV Propane System works on a different pressure than your, gas grill. Reinstalling the regulator may correct the pressure difference. Then install a short pipe nipple into the regulator and install a shutoff valve. After the shutoff valve, reinstall your quick disconnect hose. from here on after, each time you connect the hose to the grill, be sure the shutoff valve is OFF before making the connection. Then open the shutoff valve very, very, slowly, so as not to lock up the regulator.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Happy Grilling!!

Can use gas for my liquid porpane grill

Yes you can as long as your home uses LPG. You can not use 2 regulators. If your outside line is after your home regulator you need to eliminate the regulator on your grill. LPG products operate on 11" of water column, that's about 1/2" PSI.
