SOURCE: Washer continuously fills but drains at the same time during rinse cycle.

you have the drain pipe too low into tthe house drain pipe, raise the washers drain pipe up , you only need four inches down into the hous drain

also the house drain pipe needs to be as high as the lid of the machine before you put the washer drain tube into the house drain

you have a syphoning effect

SOURCE: lg wm2277h has low water level

The water level is very low on front load machines. (Below the bottom of the door) While the washer is running, push and hold the "spin speed" and "soil level" buttons at the time. Display should be between 230 and 255.(normal) If you do this while the machine is filling, you will see the numbers change. This machine only uses about 12 gallons of water for an entire cycle, vs. about 45 for some top loading machines. THIS IS NORMAL ! The machine will adjust the amount of water based on the type and volume of clothes in your washer. On a large load, you will see wet clothes, but no water sloshing around. PS. Because the machine uses so little water, make sure you use only one tablespoon of HE detergent (and only one teaspoon of fabric softner if you use it). This is very important.

If this info was helpful, please rate it as a "FixYa". Thanks.

SOURCE: water running out when washing machine is filling?

Hi jojolevaokah

Water siphoning out the drain line
If the water is continues to fill and water is draining while it is filling or agitating, Check the height of the stand pipe. It should be about 36" above the floor. If the height is correct it may need to have an anti-siphoning valve installed into the drain line.

My machine is a SANYO ASW F101AT when I start the machine the water over fills and shows an ER. there must be level switch some where, How do I fix it

there is a water level switch and it is controlled by a small tube from the tub to the switch
as the water rises in the tub , the pressure in the tube over comes a spring tension in the switch that you set by wash load level
when that setting is overcome the switch powers the solenoid for the water inlet and shuts it off at the same time starting the wash cycle
so you have 2 possible problems
i--- level switch
or
most likely a problem water control solenoid or diaphragm in the solenoid
the fix for the solenoid is a new one
check the tube to the switch or check the switch
do that bu setting low water level and listening for a solenoid operation for the water

I have a washing machine ASW-A95HT but suddenly it stops working I switched it on but the only thing that's working is the drainage, the buttons are not working the screen not working either.as soon as I...

The standard things to check on all washing machines:
1. check the inlet pipes..if the machine has 2 inlets (hot & cold), both should be connected to pipes.. in your situation, its doubtful that the pipes are not connected, but perhaps it got detached through vibration.
2. ensure that the machine is level, some machines have an auto shutoff safety mechanism which prevents it from working if the machine is not exactly (horizontally) level.
3. If you have just used it for a load prior, perhaps it has overheated.. in this instance, just leave it alone for 20 minutes and it should sort itself out.
Good luck!

Sanyo, washing machine, asw-ep70a

It probably needs a belt. It may have been slipping so much with the bigger loads that now it is shiny

Our lhd 45 ely6 dehumidifier doesn't put out any water .it is only a few years old

Phil, there are 5 basic, yet solvable reason for what you described. Please pay particular attention to numbers 1 & 2.

1. The humidity extraction level is set to HIGH. Lower it to 32-35%.

2. Air intake filter is dirty or clogged. Turn unit OFF, & Unplug the
Unit, before removing to inspect & clean it, if necessary. If washed,
allow filter to completely dry before reinstalling. DO NOT operate
the unit without the filter.

3. Obstructed air flow. Maintain a minimum of 12 to 18" of clear air
space around the entire unit.

4. Cooling coils are dirty and need to be cleaned. Use warm water & dish washing liquid to
clean the coils. Rinse and wipe dry. Apply a light coating of WD40 to the coils.

5. Ambient air temperature at floor level is between 40 - 60 degrees.
dehumidifiers do not work well between those temperatures
(Unless, you have a Low Temp Unit). This applies mainly to
where the air temperature at floor level is colder than at shoulder level
in basement applicationsl. Raising the unit up off the floor,
onto a sturdy table, counter top, etc, that can handle the weight
of the unit, plus a full tank of water, will usually resolve this
problem.

If none of the above solves the problem, it may be a case of the compressor needs to be recharged with refrigerant gas or that the humidity condenser sensor has failed. These things usually occur in units that are 5 years old or older. It's rare in a unit younger than that. But, it can happen.

Hope this help to troubleshoot the above and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

My Zanussi ZWF1658W washing mashine will not spin and drain the water it has a E20 error message on the display

I believe E20 is a blocked filter.

There should be a small door on the front of the machine almost at floor level.

BECAUSE THE MACHINE IS, I PRESUME FULL..... do this:

Unplug from mains
Tip machine backwards at about 45% so the water is not going to come gushing out of the filter when you remove it
Open the little door
remove and clean the filter
replace it
close door
put machine flat on floor agin
plug back in
start a cycle

There is not mist coming out. What should I do??

The moisture released by this (or any ultrasonic) humidifier should not be visible, so it is very possible that it is working correctly. Try filling the reservoir and marking the water level with a small piece of tape. Then run the humidifier for a few hours, and check the water level again. If the water level is below the edge of the tape, then you know it is releasing moisture into the air, and everything is working fine.

The older style of humidifiers created a mist by spinning a disk that was partly dipped into the water reservoir. They had to be refilled often, and the mist could leave water spots or dust on nearby furniture. The water level should change very slowly in your ultrasonic humidIfier compared to a misting humidifier.

Washing mashine fills, but water still flows over pior to this it worked for two loads

The water level switch is likely faulty. This is a pressure switch that senses the increase in pressure from water added to the tub.
Go to this link for location of switch. Scroll down the page to about half way and you'll see the "Water Level Control" link.

Hope this helps.
