System Error 32 on my Desktop Computer

I was just starting up my computer when, in the middle of booting up, it said system error 32 up in the left hand corner of the screen. I tried everything I could think of to fix it, from re-installing windows xp on my computer to just restarting the computer. No matter what I did the computer just didn't get past it. Can anyone please help me?

Re: System Error 32 on my Desktop Computer

If you have tried everything, including reloading Windows, look inside the case and check the capacitors on the motherboard. The motherboard is the main circuitboard, and the capacitors look like little batteries. There are usually 10-20 capacitors on a typical PC motherboard. A healthy capacitor has a very flat top, but a "popped" capacitor is bulged top and bottom. Sometimes there is even a bit of residue leaking from the bottom of the capacitor. If you have popped capacitors and you are not handy with a soldering iron, it may be best just to replace the PC (seriously). If you can handle a soldering iron, you may have luck replacing the popped capacitors. They only cost about $1 each, and they are easy to pick up from a place like

When start system show error

Does the system boot up? This does not seem like an error that would stop it from booting up, just an annoyance.

Click Start/Programs and look for the RUNcommand. You might see it anywhere once you click Programs, or it might beinside the Accessories folder. Click RUN and when it opens up type"msconfig.exe" (without the quotes) then hit ok.

When the System Configuration window opens click the Startup tab. In theStartup Tab we are only concerned with 2 columns, the first column which is theStartup Items and the column that says Command. You can put your mouse pointerbetween two column headings and it will turn into a +, then hold the left mousebutton and drag the column over to the right to expand it so you can readwhat's below it.

Now everything has a check mark beside it. This means that everytime youstart your computer, these items have to load and run.
Start with the first item listed under the startup item column and look at itand look at the command for it. We want to find the command that your system is having a problem with the script file. The command is C:\WINDOWS\system32\FAantivirus.vbs. When you see it under the command column take the check mark off over to the left next to the item column and this will keep it from running the next time you boot your system.

Compaq desktop persario xp non-system disk or disk error

This means that the system identifies the hard drive on your computer as one that is not bootable, in other words, it does not contain any operating system, or it does contain one, but the disk format is not recognized by the system. For example, Windows operating systems only identify two types of disks and that is DYNAMIC or BASIC. If a Hard disk has an operating system and has been converted to DYNAMIC, you can not start any operating system on it. Only BASIC disks can be used to start an operating system. Here is a solution for you... Get a copy of the operating system you are using and boot the computer from it. Press F2 when booting and go to the system BIOS where you are going to configure the boot order or the boot sequence and make the CD drive the first booting device, so that the system can boot from the CD. If you receive a message stating that the SETUP can not find any hard disk installed.... then there must be a problem with the Hard disk format. Remove the hard disk and connect it to a desktop computer as a slave. This will enable you to see the Hard disk as a removable device on the 'My computer" menu.Go to start, right-click on "My computer" and select "Manage". This will take you into computer management console, then select "Disk management" and this will bring all the disks and drives connected to that computer and all their respective information. Click of the drive that you just connected and check on the bottom middle column, the type of the disk whether it is DYNAMIC or BASIC. If it is Dynamic, then you have to covert it back to basic. Make sure you make a data backup before you do this. This is because the system will delete anything on the hard drive. When you are done, take the hard drive back to your computer and boot from the CD again and install a new operating system. You should be good after this...

Turn on my computer Inspiron 530S starts to boot up gives the dell booting page then goes to 0 Diskette error choose F1 to continue and F2 to start setup. I have tried F2 and change it to no floppy disk...

Sounds like someone may have left a non-bootable floppy disk in the drive. Check to be sure there isn't a floppy in the drive. Also, when in setup, it's the boot order that you'll want to change.

Computer will not boot up. I have tried to boot up in safe mode, normal, safe mode with prompt command...nothing works, just goes back to the normal start up screen and keeps doing the normal start up over...

It looks like you're encountering an endless reboot? Here's what to do to find the actual error message.

  1. Turn on the computer, and press F8 after the POST screen but before Windows attempts to start to access the advanced startup options.
  2. Select "Disable Automatic Restart On System Failure" and press Enter.
You should now get a blue screen with an error message and error codes. Please write these codes down and report back.

My sony has systm error 32

Hi, Can you pls give some more info: System 32 error after POST before Windows or System 32 error, after windows partially booted? Offhand, if the error is after POST before Windows boot, it is a hardware problem based on motherboard built-in diagnostic program: you may have to check/repalce reseat/connect memory, video card, hard drive; If it is after Windows partially boots, then chances are it is a driver problem; try running in safe mode and check at which points it stops or hangs. Hope this give you some idea. Pls post/comment back if you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.
