Can anyone help ...I have tried everything I have been given this tiny amp which fits perfectly in my small classic mini...however it has no block to connect the speakers to the hi input and speaker output...I see this is common problem with old /second hand amps. Everything else is great... can any one tell me where I can get one
one suggestion was a high to low level converter...makes no sense to me
any help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks!!!!!!!!!!

- Many thanks I had thought I wouldn't find direct piece.
I shall try the line out converter...
If not and I could get the wiring set up ....would someone be able to make the piece up or again is that just too tricky...
Hopefully I will be able to work the converter out!

-   I need help! I've had my Jensen XA92 for 2-3 yrs now and working like a champ. The other day, one of the channels got really distorted. Did a channel blow out or what can I do to fix it. Is there a pre-amp transistor I need to change or any transistor in there to fix it?-   Gnutt72
Looking at amp pin no.1 (top row on left, closest to the GND terminal) from left to right
{ output } { input }
[FL-] [FR-] [RL-] [RR-] [FL-] [FR-] [RL-] [RR-]
[FL+][FR+][RL+][RR+][FL+][FR+]{RL+][RR+]
{ output } { input }
I was given a Jensen XA 184 but didn't get a manual or the 16 pin connector. I found that a PC power supply motherboard connector with 4 pins cut off fits perfectly. Now all I need is to figure out what wire goes where. Can anyone help me out.
Your effort would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Don Skinner donsk@verizon.net
Jensen is under different ownership from when your amp was made, so it's unlikely that you'll find a replacement plug for the high-level input.
A high-low converter is also called a line-out converter. It's a device that connects to the speaker wires and changes the signal to a low-level RCA connection. This allows you to use the amp's RCA plugs with your speaker wiring (through RCA signal cables).
A line-out converter should be available any place that sells car audio accessories.
