How do I program my Pioneer DVL-909 to my dish remote?

Hi there Dasha! My name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH. It is a pleasure to assist you with this and provide you with the information you need. I have listed the steps below to assist with programming the remote to your TV. If you have any other questions, let me know at Kimberly.escobar@dish.com!

You can look up your TV codes here: http://www.mydish.com/support/apps/remotecodes.aspx?WT.svl=leftnav

1.) Press and hold the clear TV button until all mode lights light up.
2.) Release and TV light will be blinking.
3.) Enter code and press #. The TV button should flash 3 times.
4.) Try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if it is working.
5.) If no function, repeat steps 1-4 with another code.

Try to see if the drawers are blocked by something either inside or outside of the case.

Stuck dvd in a pioneer dvl-909

If you open it up and inspect, you may find a loosen or broken little rubber belt. Make a new belt out of a bike inner tube if you got good hands.
Hope this help.

Pioneer CLD-95 only spins laserdiscs when it feels like it

It sounds like the read head assembly is not resetting back to the starting point so it can start off reading the "A" side of the next disc. Probably turning it off and then on resets it back to the start of the "A" side. You might try flipping the disc manually to the "B" side, let it go and then try another disc to see if it works.

Tray won't open

It could be electrical or mechanical. Without checking there is no way to be sure. You can get the service manual for your model for 10.00 at the following link. That should get the problem taken care off.

Pioneer DVL-919 DVD door does not open

You can also try flipping the player upside down and shaking it a little. I bought a DVL 909 and when it arrived the tray wouldn't open. The seller told me to try that, and it actually worked. I wouldn't recommend shaking it quite so much as this video shows... but it does show that it can work.
