You can use a cheap 'electrolytic' method that I have personnally tried which use a DC source such as a Car battery, a scrap piece of metal and Washing soda: a good example is found here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Electrolytic-Rust-Removal-aka-Magic/ You can use any waterproof container for your bath: even a large plastic lined cardboard box (lining can be a large plastic garbage bag). Hope it helps!

when it's hot lay wet paper towels on them.. no soap remove towels when they stop sizzle. Now just make them wet and sprinkle coarse salt on the grills and scrub with a short brissle wok brush.. the kind with the stiff bambo brissels... remember no soap to clean and no pam when you cook just oil and keep very very clean and it will never get dirty. you may have to keep grill on low untill ready to clean or reheat before cleaning.
