SOURCE: Pairing with a phone
Turn the headset off. Then hold the main button (not the volume up or down button, but the button with the phone on it) for 7-8 seconds. When the light is a solid blue it is in pairing mode.

The actual problem was Plantronics, I was not turning on pairing mode. I was confused with quick pair which starts not immediately after turning on, but you need to hold the button longer until led will start blinking blue and red.

Depending on brand of phone look for settings then connection.Under connection look for bluetooth or something similar.Under bluetooth look for setup then find or locate that is discovery mode. Now push power on button of bluetooth and hold in until a steady light is on if done correctly phone should now connect to bluetooth then enter passcode, usually 0000.

Something similar happened to mine. It worked for 2 months, and my phone received a message from jabra to reset pass key. It did not accept, and it stopped working with my phone. I tried everything. I was told to hold the power down for 10 seconds to place in pairing mode, that did not work. This did. Hold the volume up down and the answer button down at the same time for 7 seconds. You have to make sure they are all down or it will not work. You will see that the light will stay lit continuously. This means it is in pairing mode. Then place the bluetooth on your phone on. Tap find device at the top. It will then locate the jabra. Follow any other prompts. If it asks for a passkey, or code, 0000 will suffice. Hope this helps. I looked for almost an hour and a half for the answer.

Assuming you're talking about the Jabra BT2050 headset press and hold the center (round) button for at least 10 seconds; light will stay solid entering the pairing mode. Follow instructions on your phone.
