Question about Frigidaire Dishwashers
Removed heavy deposits of undisolved liquid detergent. Raised temperature of hot water heater, was factory set to 110 deg....raised it to approx 130 deg.. observed water only comes half way up "delivery tube" when washing "Normal, hightemp " mode. unit model is FGBD243/KWO and only 26 months old. How do I tell if it is the motor or the electronics ?
I know this will sound funny but, you will have to trust me on this one. Try running some orange tang juice crystals through it. Your machine will sparkle after words. Hope this helps!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: No pressure during wash cycle
Motor pump has gone out. pump needs replacing. the unit needs to be pulled out inorder to access the pump. the sides of the d/w must come off.

We had the same problem with our Bosch 4800 and found that the upper wash arm and tube assembly should attach to the bottom of the upper rack (rather than to the back of the dishwasher). The wash arm and tube assembly slides in and out with the upper rack. When the dishwasher door is closed the tube assembly is forced up against the back mounting/water supply.

i have same dishwasher with same problem. it is a design problem. i will never ever buy GE again. only way to solve this problem is, DO NOT load any dishes at left front side of bottom rack so bottom spray can shoot water in that stupid designed detergent cup. I have service tec came here 3 times and this idiot ******* blamed everything in my new house but this junk and expensive dishwasher. i just wrote a letter to GE headquarters adress is AP 6, Room 129 Louisville, KY 40225

There is a rather delicate mechanism which controls that soap door. Often this is the first part of a dishwasher to cause trouble. Instead of using the powdered detergent in the soap holder just pour the measured amount into the floor of the machine.
Once you have used up the powder, you might wish to consider a tablet which also just gets tossed.

Thanks akubra_lands, it worked for me too on model DW28W. I thought I should elaborate on your answer for anyone else who comes across this while researching the same problem.
The repair is ridiculously simple (takes about 10min) and the only tools needed are 1 philips/posidrive screwdriver and 1 flat blade screwdriver. Assuming you've unplugged it from mains power:
Now take a moment to admire the handiwork of the engineer who planned the failure of that innocent little plastic flap around 6 months after the expiry of the warranty.
I actually had a repair man come and look at the problem, and yep, right on cue, he told me it needed a new pump motor. $300. When he realised I was on to him he just gave up. So hard for repair people to do an honest day's work these days..
