Connect controller using USB message

Your controler is either low on battery charge, or it needs to re-sync with the system.
If you still have the message while it is plugged in, then either the plug is worn, cable has worn out, or it is the wrong kind of USB cable. Some cables do not have a data connection and although they may work to charge the controler, they will not work to sync the controler to the system. Make sure nobody switched your cable for the kind used only to charge cellphones, as USB charger cables do not usually have the data pins enabled.
If it is the correct cable and works for other PS3 controlers, then it could be a worn socket on your controler and no way to really fix except to buy a new controler.
Another, more rare possibility is something wrong with the controler internally, which can sometimes be fixed by using a small pin, like a safety pin and pressing it into the tiny "reset" hole on the bottom of the controler, while it is plugged in to the USB cable and PS3., then pressing the PS3 button on the controler to make sure it's powered on during reset. The "reset hole" is very small, but can be found closest to the screw nearest where the cable plugs in, on the bottom of the controler.

HP LaserJet 2430 Printer Will Not Print since USB Power Surge Error

If you get an error message "Insufficient power to operate USB device" when you plug a USB device into the computer's USB port or the un-powered USB hub that is attached to the computer's USB port, then this device is drawing excessive current that the USB port cannot supply. The maximum output from an USB port is 500mA. In case such as this, you need to purchased a powered USB hub and connect this hub into the computer's USB port and then connect the USB device into this powered USB hub.

When I turned on my printer today all the lights on the front started flashing and this error message showed: "C4EB8000. Turn power off then on again." I've tried googling it and nothing seems...

Follow these steps to resolve the error message. It might not be necessary to complete each step to fix the issue. Step one: Disconnect all data cables and devices from the HP product
  1. Disconnect any USB, Ethernet, or parallel cables from the back of the HP product.
CAUTION: Do not disconnect the power cord during this step. Figure 1: USB connectionc01661620.gif Figure 2: Parallel connectionc01369986.jpg
  2. Remove any memory cards or USB drives from the HP product.
Step two: Turn the HP product off and then on
  1. Press the Power button (c01602202.gif ) to turn off the HP product.
  2. Wait 15 seconds.
  3. Press the Power button (c01602202.gif ) to turn on the HP product.
Step three: Reconnect the data cables and devices
  1. Press the Power button (c01602202.gif ) to turn off the product.
  2. Reconnect one USB, Ethernet, or parallel cable to the back of the product.
  3. Press the Power button (c01602202.gif ) to turn on the product.
  4. Check the display for the error message.
    • If the error message does not display , reconnect another cable, and then repeat steps 2 through 4.
    • If the error message displays , replace the cable you just reconnected with a new one. Go to the How to Buy HP page to buy the replacement power supply for your product.
Step four: Determine if the HP product uses a power cable or a power module as the power supply If the power supply is a cable with electrical connections at each end, the product uses a power cable . Figure 3: Power cablec01369983.jpg If the power supply is a cable connected to a module or box, the product uses a power module . The power module might have a permanently attached power cord, or the power cord might detach from the power module. The term power module refers to both the power module and the power cord. Figure 4: Power modulec01369984.gif c02020663.gifIMPORTANT If the product uses a power module, make sure that the power module part number is the same as the part number listed in the User Guide to ensure you have the correct power module. If the part numbers do not match, replace the power module. Go to the How to Buy HP page to purchase the replacement power module for your product. Step five: Check the electrical connections and outlet
  1. Disconnect the power cable or power module from the back of the product.
  2. Disconnect the power cable or power module from any power strips or surge protectors.
NOTE: If the product uses a power module with a detachable power cord, unplug the cord from the power module, and then plug it into the power module again.
  3. Wait 30 seconds
  4. Plug the power cable or power module directly into a wall outlet.
  5. Reconnect the power cable or power module to the back of the product.
  6. Press the Power button (c01602202.gif ) to turn on the product.
  7. Monitor the product to see if it turns on then off again.
    • If the product remains on , you might have too many devices plugged into the power strip or surge protector. You might also need a new one.
    • If the product turns off , the source of the problem is the electrical outlet. Continue to the next step.
  • If these steps resolved the issue , there is no need to continue troubleshooting.
  • If the issue persists , see the next step.

Error message appears "power surge at usb hub port" when I plugin

disconnect your usb hub and connect it directly to your computer and that will eliminate the usb hub if that is causing the problem,
I have worked on these machines a lot and very rarely do you have any usb problems, if it still is giving the same error message after by passing the usb hub, you will need to replace the main PCB on the printer itself

Problem with the USB port

Don't worry about the toner -it's gonna be more costly to replace your PC if you keep using this printer. i don't know the cause , but obviously if it has happened on multiple computers, there is some sort of short or something going on. Besides, a new printer these days (get your self an HP) is only about the price of a toner cartridge anyway - $100 +/-

Power surge on hub port

Try this to find out which one of your components has an issue. Turn off your machine then unplug all of your USB cables. Turn your machine back on and plug in one of your USB cables. Verify the component you just plugged in works correctly and if it does plug in another cable and verify that component is working. Continue these steps until you have the one component that displays the error you have seen. That component is most likely the cause of your issue and should be replaced.

Good luck, Greased.

Power surge

Connect the camera whilst it is switched off....then when you power will ask if you want to connect via PC or bridge....if that still throws up power need to use a different cable as the power ballast on the cable is faulty. It is much easier to just use a card off eBay.

Error message "power surge on hub" when attempting to upload from N C 5200

Hi, are you using a USB hub or attaching directly to the computer USB port?
  1. If you are using a USB hub, which is then connected to your computer ... you either need to
    1. Plug the camera directly in to the computer so that the computer supplies the USB with more power to the camera.
    2. If the USB hub has a power plug/adapter, use it so the USB hub gets more power to handle the task.
    3. Buy a different USB hub that has a power adapter so enough juice can be supplied to the tasks that USB is asking to do.
  2. Some USBs on the computer aren't giving enough power, you may have a bad USB port, try another one.
  3. Use a Card Reader, which is much faster to download pictures than from the camera.
Reason: some times, the USB task is asking for a lot more power than is being supplied through the current USB path. You have to either add power through an adapter or plug directly in to a power source (like the computer directly, or a reader that doesn't require as much power to operate it).

This should help, if so, please mark as FixYa!

Power surge on hub port error msg

The printer is the problem, obviously but, also try using a different USB cable to see if that doesn't help! When plugging up th cable, look for anything out of the ordinary! If changing the USB cable doesn't resolve the situation then it could be something shorted out in your printer and you need to take it to a service shop for repair! regards, babb
