Try formatting the memory using the camera. Open the camera's Menu scroll through the settings to Format memory.

SOURCE: Deleting pictures from memory card

The camera lacks internal RAM or space on the card to do enough caching to delete the pictures. If you were to not exceed about 60% capacity of the card the camera may be able to delete as much as you want on the card. You have to try this. If the camera has a format option for its memory card you can try it out to see if this will clean up the card. The other solution is to have a PC computer. Most of these devices are designed only for PC interface. Jerry G.

Getting message on screen of Read Error while trying to solve the "Memory full" message, any ideas?

Memory full, if it is true, you should backup some pictures and delete them from the card.
Read error, can indicate a corrupted file, dirty contacts on the memory card or a camera malfunction.
for 1 backup all photos and format the card. 2. Clean the contacts on the card and in the camera.
3. Contact a FUJI dealer.
Everything is in the manual (still online) on page 112

I put my memory card into laptop, message says my card is full, and yet i delete my pics from camera., do i have to delete from memory card also, if so how do i do that.

Did you delete the pictures from the internal camera memory and not the SD card? An easy way to solve this problem would be to insert the card into your computer and open up "My Computer". In here you should see your memory card mounted as a usable drive. Open up the SD card, select everything in it by pressing "Control" + "A" and then hitting delete. This will clean everything off of the card. If you want to save the files from the card first, simply make a folder somewhere on your PC and drag all of the files from the SD card into that folder after pressing "Control" + "A". If you are still getting an error stating your card is full after removing them this way you may need to re-format the card or it may be malfunctioning.

How do I upload pictures from my fujifilm z85 to my computer

FINEPIX Z85/Z90 Series. DIGITAL CAMERA. Owner's Manual. (PDF format)

However, the easier way (for me) is using a card reader.
Once you checked that all pictures are copied to your computer, insert the memory card back into the camera and either delete all or format the memory card.

My memory card is full, how do I delete it?

Here is the manual that shows you what button is the delete button for deleting the pictures from the camera. http://resources.kodak.com/support/shtml/en/manuals/urg00483/urg00483c2s3.shtml

You should also be able to connect your camera to your computer through the USB cable, open up My Computer and find the drive letter that represents your camera's memory stick. You can open that drive by double clicking on it. Double click on whatever folder[s] until you get to the pictures themselves. You then should be able to select all and hit the delete key on your keyboard to delete the pictures.

When i insert my fujifilm 2gb memory card into model jv100 all i can do is look through my pictures i cannot delete or use anything else ,and a icon comes up in the centre of the screen when i look at my...

A few things but the first that comes to mind is that there is a little slid lock on the upper left side of the memory card. This lock needs to be pushed forward towards the gold contacts to unlock the card. Another problem could be tat the 2gig card is full of pictures and needs to be downloaded to your computer. Once this is done the card will need to be formatted to clean the old pictures off and make the card ready for new pictures. I suspect when you take this card out (2gig) the camera defaults to internal memory and yes everything will work as it should until the internal memory is full of pictures as well

My Fujifilm s5000 camera turns on but when I go to take a picture it turns off. I can view my pictures but can't take any.

Your memory card or internal memory may be full. I've run into situations where the card full doesn't flash on the monitor or LCD screen because there is lets say 3 gigs of memory left but the picture you are taking is 3.5gig's it won't take the picture because there isn't enough memory to put the image anywhere. Download your pictures to your computer, format your memory card and all should be good again. If you are using the internal memory you will need to obtain (buy) a memory card for your camera and download from the internal memory each picture from the memory card one by one until all the internal pictures are on the removable memory card then download these to the computer. After you have them on the computer go back into the internal memory and delete each of thse pictures and you are ready to start taking pictures once again. it took me longer to type this then the process will take to do.
