My sony projector works great but there seems to be some green coming in on the screen..i played with the setting but no results..Are their any trim pots for the red, blue, green lcd panels?

if you reset the settings to factory default and swaped out cables, then the oly thing left to do would be to realign the lcd panels. unfortunately, only sharp service centers can do this easily. they have a tool specifically made for lcd panrl alignments on sharp projectors. you could try av solutions in ny. the'yr pretty good.

My Eiki Projector is fading blue. I just bought a replacement lamp and it didn't help at all. Is there anyway to fix this?

The lamp is not the problem. Based on your description, you have a Blue lcd panel going bad.You will have to have the projector repaired--lcd replacement and re-alignment. The projector is out of production so you'll have to find a service center that do the work. If you enter "lcd projector service" in a search engine, there are a lot of reputable centers that can do the work.

Blue on one side

It isn't the LCD panels, it is the Polarizers that degrade with heat. You can replace them yourself.

Hi there

There is unfortunatelly no section in the Service Manual to explain this sort of procedure.

You'll have to move the LCD panels one by one - millimeter by millimeter.

Alignment (convergence) of color panels MT1050

I can assist you with that if you want. It is very tedious, but can be done. You need a cross hatch pattern generator or something with vertical and horizontal lines to lineup the LCD Panels again. Tricky little procedure if your not familiar with it. Let me know if i can assist you and hopefully save you agravation at the same time. Thanks Jay
