Does anyone no how to delete icons for software

- the icons for kaspersky, avg and other programs like that. they are still there even if i don't have the programs on my computer anymore.
you right click on start then go to properties. in notification area click on customize. you'll see all the icons there. you'll have a choice to hid when inactive.

- i want to delete all of the icons that i no longer have the software for. i already removed some of the software from my computer. i want nothing left from those programs if im not using them. you right click on start then go to properties. in notification area click on customize. you'll see all the icons there. you'll have a choice to hid when inactive. see what im talking about? those icons.
