I bought a kenwood 815 dvd player out of a car that was traded in and the guy bought a new car from my work ,i hooked it all up in my car and i cant get into it without a four digit passcode,i cant seem to get ahold of the previous owner and was wondering if there was an easier way
I just did this this morning with mine press the reset button and right as some of the lights turn on but before the small screen turnes on in the front press this really fast 55222277 then track forward by the way i did it with a kenwood remote that didnt belong to it it was one i picked up at bestbuy (my old work) for free

It's hard code into the head unit...pulling the dam battery cables aren't going to do you any good.. you need to bring the HU to an authorize kenwood dealer so they can reset it for you.
