Question about Gigabyte Atom Series Netbook: Q2005 - Intel« AtomO N570 1.6 Netbook
My sisters Netbook is currently turning itself off as soon as the power adapter is plugged into it. She can boot it up without the cord plugged in as there is still some battery life left, but as soon as the adapter even slightly touches the power port on the netbook (not even actually plugged into it..!) it powers itself completely off, total shutdown. I even tried it with the adapter not plugged into the power socket and same thing happened... Any ideas what could be wrong? Cheers!
Have you tried a different adaptor or power outlet other than that the dc jack on the notepad may need replaced
