I would like to unlock my printer from the service required mode

Assuming you are referring to an R300 then you can use the keys on the printer itself to reset the waste ink counter and get out of the "service required" mode.

1. Press and hold 'stop' 'maintenance' and 'power' buttons for about 10 seconds, a message will come on the screen saying counter is reset and to turn off.

2. Turn your printer off and then back on - job done.

IMPORTANT
When resetting the counters you should really replace the waste ink pad or fit some form of external waste ink tank, like a Printer Potty, as the pads will eventually oversaturate and start leaking waste ink out of the printer or backing up ink into the printhead causing clogging.

Dcp 145c machine error

ill email you the reset procedure for the m/c and pruge but just doing a reset will not cure this problem you need to replace purge unit and do a counter reset on your purge unit, (used to clean the printhead) thats why it says unable to clean,

Hi, The orange light in my canon ip1600 printer is blinking 5 times and green light once alternatively. Please give me a solution to fix it. What is the reason behind this problem? Thanks.

Probably your waste ink counter. Should be cleaned or replaced before resetting but usually you can get away with resetting once.
1. Start with printer OFF
2. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
3. Release RESUME
4. press RESUME twice, then release POWER
5. let green light blink until printhead has finished moving.
6. Select functions below with RESUME, execute with POWER

0 presses - green light - Test Print (exit service for i960)
1 press - orange light - EEPROM info print
2 presses - green light - EEPROM initialise
3 presses - orange light - reset waste ink counter.

All the lights have just started flashing on my 1520 suddenly i have tried diconnecting it and then back on still the same

s printer has internal reservoir spomges for unused ink that purges from printhead each time printer parks its printhead. At some point they become saturated, something like 65k copies. The printer counter needs reset and sponges need replacement. Download the service manual (probably free) from Epson factory support site.
