Question about Televison & Video
MY TV SWITCHES ON NORMALLY VERTICAL LINESAPPEAR ON THE LEFT SIDE AFTER TWOMINUTES THEN THE LINES INCREASE TO THE RIGHT SIDE,THEN PICTURE FREEZES DOUBLE IMAGES APPEAR AND THEN BLACK MASKING OF THE SCREEN WHILE IN THE BACKGROUND THROUGH A SMALL SLIT AT THE BOTTOM ONE CAN SEE THE CHANNEL BEING RECEIVED.IF I SWICH OFF AND SWITCH ON THE TV STARTS TO WORK NORMALLY AND THE PROBLEM STARTS ONCE AGAIN

Most likely it's the LCD panel failure. You can replace the panel if you can find a spare part. But the new panel may cost you as much as to buy a new tv. Hope that will help you.

No solution here.
I have the same issue... A vertical magenta line, about 2 pixels wide, appeared about 1" from the left side of my 52" LNT5265FX/XXA. Of course, this appeared after the 1 year warranty... For me it started showing up about 22 months from purchase date. It goes away when the TV warms up after about 30 minutes or so. Sucks that such an expensive product has developed this issue w/in 2 years.
