Sounds like a failing weld sensor. Clean it first its on the left side, you can see it when the ribbon is out. If that doesn't help replace it.

just go to Emulation and set Protocol as EPSON FX..... and install Windows Driver Epson FX-1050.... it work for both DOS as well as Windows...

Weld not found

On the left hand side the ribbon passes though a "U" shaped sensor. This is your weld sensor, clean any ink from it first then replace it if it continues to fail. Part Number is 254476-001.

Printing problem comes after 10 page or 50 pages after ,(cyan,magenta,yellow) color verticals 1and half inch line comes in print .

after printing 10* or 50 pages* at a time then you should off your printer for 15 minutes then restart it again.
*problems comes because your printer goes very hot

My printer won't print. my computer is hooked up to it, and it doesn't give any error messages. it just doesn't do anything.

Go to Control Panel/Printers. Right click on your printer's name, and hit Print Test Page. If printer prints a page out, then the problem is likely with the software you're using to print - make sure you have selected the right printer in the dropdown. If the printer's name doesn't show in the Printers folder of Control Panel, the driver for it has not been installed. Do so and try again.

It has somes spots on the side of the sheets and I cleaned the cartriges and the spots isn't gone.

A print quality defect in which pages contain random spots or splotches (click on the link to see sample may occur after the replacement of a supply item or the clearing of a paper jam. If your printed output resembles the example shown, please do the following:

Print the Menu Settings page to check the levels of your consumable supplies (i.e. items such as toner cartridges and photoconductor units). Supplies that are at or near the end of their functional lives can cause various print quality issues independently of the operation of the printer.

If any of your other supplies are low, replace them to see if this resolves the issue. Instructions for replacing supplies can be found in the User's Guide.

It is always advisable to print the Print Quality Pages to get a detailed look at your printer's output. These pages allow each color plane to be viewed independently to determine if the issue is with one color (possibly due to a single supply item), or with all the colors (indicating a more general issue with the printer).

If the above checks show that everything is normal, the print quality issue is probably a temporary situation which sometimes follows supply replacement or paper jam removal. Printing 5-10 additional pages should allow the issue to clear up on its own.

If the print quality issue does not clear on its own, please contact Lexmark Technical Support

My Canon MP600 AIO printer will print no more than about 10 lines of text. I have tried typing up a list of 20 or so lines I still only get the same 10 or so. The printer than hangs and an error message...

switch off the printer and then try again

if this fails then check to make sure you havent changed the print regions on the program which youa re typing ie ms office?

Where do you find the print spooler? I tried typing it in the start search box and it showed up, but when I clicked on it, I got nothing. I am running Windows Vista. My roommate has a bad habit of getting...

One place to find the print spooler (queue) is from the start button. Look for Printers and Devices (IIRC) in the list on the right side near the Control Panel link. Click on the command and then double click on your printer, then click on See what's printing or the line about the printer queue. (or right click on the printer and choose see what's printing). From this control panel, you will also see a triangle if there is an Windows device error and can troubleshoot that error.

Sometimes the problem is something stuck in the queue that can't be deleted. In that case try stopping and restarting the spooler. Start > All Programs > Accessories > right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator. In the subsequent window, type "net stop spooler" without the quotes followed by hitting enter. On the next line, type "net start spooler" again without the quotes and hit enter. After that command executes, restart the computer. Check the spooler and try printing again. (If you get a query about stopping other services, type Y and enter. The service will restart on rebooting.)

Printing problem

Try completely removing everything to do wiith the printer,from the,drivers and make sure the yellow folder,found in program files that was there for the printer is gone,if not,delete it,the restart the computer.Unplug the printer from the computer,then install the cd for the printer again,restart the computer after that is done.When the computer is all booted up,plug in the printer and let windows load all the will let you know when its done.Then try your printing again.That should fix it.If not,please feel free to get back to me:)...good luck

Hp 3325 printer printing test page and not printing other pages

Hi there,
  • Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
  • Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
  • restart the computer
  • try to download drivers from the website
  • after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
  • then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.

This is very unusal with All-in-one printers. Have you try Hard reset till? Keeping the power on button press for 10 sec till it get on..

Also is the error showing on display screen of printer or at PC? Which Os is running on your PC.

Please also try this --> Power off the printer then computer, Unplug the printer from PC and then main power board--> then restart PC --> after then shut down PC and then again attach printer to PC and power on.

Let me know about the printer spooling if showing any error in Printer setting window.
